Distribution of journeys by mode
In 2021, the distribution of journeys was relatively even between the three modes, with the metro leading, followed by the tram and then the bus.
With the recovery in passenger numbers on the STIB network, all modes gained passengers compared to 2020, although the bus recorded the highest increase.
