De Brouckère, a brand new station in the heart of the capital
In De Brouckère, the renovations were carried out in two phases, with the first phase involving the renovation of the premetro part, which opened in 2019, and the second phase involving the metro part, which opened in 2021.
In addition to a new access, the work has added more light thanks to a skylight, among other features. The platforms have been widened for greater comfort and safety and the walkways improved to facilitate passenger flow.
