A new remuneration policy
In 2021, STIB introduced a new remuneration policy that is more transparent and promotes internal mobility. The new system concerns the company's 6,500 workers, whose job classification has been simplified and standardised.
This was a long-term project for the HR teams, who spent eight years working on it in close consultation with social partners. In addition, the new job classification for workers greatly simplifies the management systems and promotes the digitalisation of processes, as well as strengthens managerial proximity and stimulates the use of languages.
